When travelling across France and stumbling upon an exhibition of Picasso at the Musee Granet in Aix en Provence, it made me think of tackling portraits a bit differently this summer. So in contrast to the lifelike work i’ve created before, I thought it would be interesting and challenging to create a portrait or two with a hint of cubist influence. Although work in progress i’m liking how this has shaped up so will no doubt be adding to this one of Eddy Merckx very soon.
